Mining Power Leveling Guide - The Proven Method!

4 Quick Tips for this Mining Power Leveling Guide

Below i'll show you 4 easy tips that will improve greatly your quest in leveling your mining profession in World of Warcraft. Without further ado, keep reading and enjoy the content!

Tip #1 – Be prepared for Mining!

I mean always have 2-3 bags empty and ready to be filled with that juicy Copper Ore.

Don't forget to buy your Mining Pick!

Tip #2 – Get a Mining Route and Stick to It!

When you want to milk a map (for example Durotar) be sure to check every single square foot of it. Veins don't always spawn in the same place and if you do some extensive research (like I did) You'll find that veins spawn all over the map, predominantly near Mountains.

Hug the exterior border of every map and do a full circle. After you finish the exterior do a small circle in the center of the map and then continue from where you started. This way you'll make sure you haven't missed any possible vein.

Tip #3 – Power Leveling Mining Should be Easy and Painless!

Enable "Track Veins" on your minimap, press "Num Lock" (orders your mount to automatically run forward) and just steer left/right while you enjoying TV / music / even chatting with friends ingame.

Have ` macroed for mount/dismount functions. Press ` (above TAB) anytime you want to mount/dismount as quickly as possible.

Tip #4 – Mining Ranks vs Mining Maps

* Apprentice Miners 1 – 75 should mine lowbie 1 – 10 areas: Durotar, Elwynn Forest, Tirisfal Glades, Dun Morogh etc.
* Journeyman Miners 75 – 125 should mine 20-30 areas: Barrens, Silverpine Forest, Ashenvale, Westfall etc.
* Expert Miners 125 – 175 should mine 30-40 areas.

And so on. I won't write every single shiz here. I think you got the point.

The secret to mining is this – When all the veins in a particular area are green to you move on to the closest higher level area and just mine, mine and mine.

For example Mithril Ore – West of Badlands, Searing Gorge, Tanaris, Feralas etc (40-50 areas).

Let's assume you finished with Mithril! Good! What's next? 50-60 areas, of course! Western / Eastern Plaguelands, Un'goro Crater, Silithus, Burning Steppes etc.

Mining Levelling Hint: Always pick adiacent same-level locations. For example if you want to mine Thorium Ore pick Silithus/Un'goro Crater or Eastern/Western Plaguelands.
